I want to take this opportunity to let you know how very pleased Becky and I are with the job you and your team have done.

The paint job itself is outstanding an an excellent example of the best of the profession. But what really sets Chameleon Colors apart is the little extras that you and your team went out of your way to provide.

We thank you for the fine work and we hope you will give us the chance to act as a reference account in the future. Best wishes for continued success!

Margaret and I greatly appreciate your careful work on the inside of our house earlier this month. You listened carefully to our needs and made helpful suggestions. You and the crew were punctual every day. As you predicted, your people moved with great care some really heavy and awkward furnishings. The paint was superbly matched. Your preparation of the surfaces was excellent. The work was done with dispatch but with nary a drop of paint out of place, which means that the masking and draping were well done indeed. You inspected afterward for skips and misses, and you followed up with us later in case we noticed any problems.

We are pleased indeed, and would be glad to serve as references.

Matthew and his crew painted our house the summer of 1999. We have had several house painters in our 50 years of home ownership. Not one of them could begin to compare with the professional artistic job done by this company. They spent three days preparing the house, caulking every nail hole crack and seam. They painted everything two coats after primer. The crew was meticulous, pleasant to have around, and left everything spotless. We were able to go camping, leaving them complete access to our home inside and out without the slightest worry. We have recommended this company to more than one real estate agent and would not hesitate to recommend Chameleon Painting Co. to anyone.

On two occasions, Matthew Smith has provided interior painting services for projects at our home. In both instances, the painting done by Matthew met all of our expectations and painting requirements. We were particularly pleased with Matthew’s Knowledge of painting applications and ability to get the job done on time.

We found him a joy to work with and greatly appreciated his wit and wonderful sense of humor. We recommend Matthew Smith and Chameleon Painting without reservation.

As a longtime resident and business professional on Bainbridge Island, I take real pleasure in giving business to local companies; therefore, it is my pleasure to give a high recommendation to Matthew R. Smith and his business Chameleon Painting Co.

My wife and I live in a 27-year-old home on the south end of the island. The exterior is severely affected by the southerly winds and salt spray. The interior is architecturally a northwest design with clear fir fascia and trim around wallboard. Both of these conditions provided numerous challenges to the painters. As many a four separate coats were applied to the exterior to achieve complete coverage. Much of this was done 20-25 feet above the ground.

The interior fascia and trim required exact color matching and the junction between the darker wood and off-white wallboard required extreme precision and control on the part of the painters.

I am happy to report that upon close scrutiny only one error was discovered and it was due more to a lighting shadow than to a painting error. It was immediately corrected without comment.

I am sure that I do not have to tell you that compliance to a schedule, using quality materials, talent, a fair fee, and appropriate cleanup are all important in choosing a painting contractor.

With these in mind, Chameleon Painting is exemplary.

Thank you for the fine job you did of pressure-washing the shake roof and siding of our 102 year-old farmhouse. I was impressed with your professionalism; your work was done with extreme care to the structure itself and concern for our extensive landscaping. I value your advice not to pressure wash our carport roof in order to remove the moss, thereby extending the life of that newer roof, but in recommending the use of an environmentally friendly moss agent. Great call!!!

I appreciate the fact you kept your appointments and performed the work in a timely manner, not to mention that your estimate was right on target and fair. Thanks again!
